Manurewa is my home. I’m working hard for our community.
Community clinics.
My team and I are regularly out and about with pop-up clinics and door knocking to talk to people about community issues. Get in touch if you’d lIke a clinic at your local shops or playground!
My Facebook page includes regular updates about the next community clinic, so give us a follow to keep up to date.
Our local stream.
A clean, healthy Puhinui Stream will link up our neighbourhoods in Manukau, Wiri and Manurewa by creating a connection between people and the natural environment - but we need to work together to protect it.
Puhinui Stream is the last remaining natural asset in Manurewa and it's an important reminder of the landscape before urban development. I'm working hard to keep the support we've got for the stream, and to expand it over time.
Our bottle shops.
Around New Zealand, councils have tried to put in local alcohol policies under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act but they’ve been held up by liquor shops and supermarkets.
It's hard to make changes to the rules around alcohol, and it's important that we take time to get it right. That's why I'm working hard to get Manurewa voices at the table. If you want to get involved, let me know.
