As your MP, I work hard alongside my colleagues to advocate on behalf of disadvantaged communities. I bring Manurewa’s voice to Parliament.
Māori Affairs
We’re committed to improving the intergenerational wellbeing of whānau by working in closer collaboration with Māori. There’s plenty more to do, but Labour has delivered investment into education, employment and more for Māori.
As your MP, I work hard alongside my colleagues to ensure we’re improving the lives of tangata whenua.
Alcohol reform for
South Auckland
We all need to put our heads together to give communities a proper say and make a lasting impact in the way alcohol is sold.
I accepted a petition from community groups, mums, doctors and church leaders calling for alcohol reform. They told Parliament to take the opportunity to get alcohol laws sorted - because people want and need it. I continue to work alongside them to make change in our community.
